STUDY ON RISK MANAGEMENT IN BUSINESS

Summary/Abstract: In the current economic context marked by globalization of phenomena, we can observe an emphasis on keeping business risk under control, therefore being developed some risk management systems, better adapted to different areas of activity. This paper highlights some results of a study made by the authors, based on literature review, the objectives being: 1) highlighting the current approaches to risk management in business; 2) identifying specific business risks in case of environmental services. For this purpose, the current approaches are highlighted previously on the model of business risk management systems. In the same time, there are analyzed the risks in various fields. Following the study, the authors clarify specific aspects of risk management systems and argues the importance of identifying specific risks from companies which develop their activity in the field of environmental management services.
