Summary/Abstract: This paper deals with meaning and use of scientific notion of historical-typological analogy. Afterwards, we point out an international character of the conflict on the literary left, emphasizing parallelisms between American and Yugoslav journal scenes. This analysis elucidates structural relationships between two cultures, as well as differences between two historical situations.
