Summary/Abstract: Aim of this article is to present Polish awareness and proecological attitudes at the end of 20th and the start of 21st century. This article performs overview of available research in terms of the range of environmental awareness of Polish people studies by Institute for Sustainable Development and recently also by Ministry of the Environment and ecological organizations.
