The social capital can not be created nor multiply without relations to theheritage of past generations, the knowledge about the past and its falseness. A consolidation of thememory of an individual and a group is a fundamental issue after a totalitarian period. A memorycan divide, but also enable to mutual understanding on various levels of social structure. A restorationof a memory on behalf of values and ideals can bring a resurgence of pro-social attitudes,a requirement of revitalization a local communities, promotes a trust. It should be effective ineducation indicating a value of developing and supporting social relations, formal and non-formal,through getting to know a bygone collective experiences. Social capital should profit from the pastsources and valuable indications without a close future perspective.
