Summary/Abstract: The paper is follow-up research concerning the position of enterprises with foreign capital in Western Pomeranian Voivodeship economy, conducted for period 2000–2009. The purpose of this paper was to address the following questions: 1) have capabilities and activity of foreign entities in the analyzed region changed after the financial crisis outbreak in 2008, and 2) has the crisis brought on any substantial change in significance of such entities in Western Pomeranian Voivodeship economy? Results of the original research confirmed the positive influence of enterprises with foreign capital on the analyzed region’s economy (suppressed by the crisis effects mostly in period 2010–2012), while their capabilities and activity remained disappointingly low in comparison to all companies with foreign capital in Poland.
