Summary/Abstract: The population and continuous capitalization of a territory by a community for a long time contributes to the shaping and creation of special ties between them. People have offered magical symbols, archetypes, cultural and mythological motives, meanings and philosophical perceptions, memory, physical and spiritual attachment to the territory. Both the material and the spiritual components are important sources to understanding the rural landscape. The researching of the spirituality of the space has theoretical basis in the studies of D. Stăniloae, L. Blaga, T. Vianu, G. Rose, L. Frobenius, etc. Also, an unquestionable platform for such an endeavour is the collective memory and cultural reality of the local rural community. The methodological aspect of the study includes the qualitative analysis method of literary and scientific sources, the ethnological site researching, the comparative method, direct and participatory observation etc
