Summary/Abstract: The paper focuses on systematic modernization of the Ministry of foreign affairs of the Slovak Republic headed by Jan Kubis, which began to implement in 2007. This project was named TREFA (Permanent effectiveness of management). The aim of this paper is to present the progress of the reform, the results of the process analysis and the implementation of long-term systematic measures in each year.
