Seasonal impact on costs and income of enterprises in the building industry

Summary/Abstract: Running a business is continuous decision-making, regardless of the prevailing economic situation. Efficiency of individual cells depends on thoughtful and quick management decisions, and thus the success or failure of its market. The article explores the effects of seasonality on the costs and revenues of the company in the building industry and presented factors influencing the seasonality of the industry. It characterizes the seasonality of costs and their links with revenues. Based on epirical data the paper presents the impact of seasonality on the structure of costs and revenues in the company belonging to the leading manufacturers of concrete and reinforced concrete sewage components in Poland.
