Summary/Abstract: The paper emphasized the importance of the two aspects the mediated text has – production and reception. This difference reveals the role of the receiver in the production of significance and, implicitly, the role of audience in the production of sense of a media text, but also the way in which this sense contributes to the social construction of reality.
