Summary/Abstract: The changes occurring in the modern world economy and international trade, force companies to seek for solutions that will ensure, that during the dynamic development of the electronic market, companies do not lose previously acquired buyers. The paper presents the concept of collaboration platforms, which may act as a solution for companies looking for establishment of a relationship with buyers on the consumer market. The article analyzes also the changes that take place in the consumer market, and shows the importance of collaboration platforms, embedded in a modified concept of international entrepreneurship. The purpose of this article is to present practical tips for businesses on the objective and the method of implementation of collaboration platforms with the active consumers, termed as prosumers, on the consumer market.
