Summary/Abstract: In this paper there were shown the results of questionnaire examinations conducted among 120 farms which contained the questions connecting the quantity of produced natural fertilizers and the way of their storage. All examinations were done in farms situated on the area of province podlaskie in communes: Kobylin Borzymy, Kulesze Kościelne and Tykocin. As the results show the environment is in danger which is caused by incorrect storage of natural fertilizers. Many from examined farms admit that they do not possess tight containers for liquid fertilizers and the surplus of manure is stored directly on the ground even for many months. The negative effect of agriculture is clearly observed on analysed area and influences the quality of waters and soils.
