Summary/Abstract: In the following article author presents an analysis of two beekeeping farms that represent different stages of development. One of them is in the process of stabilization conducted by the owner, while the other is being intensively developed and learns from past mistakes. Period which is taken under comparison considers years: 2009–2014, while the main criteria of comparison is the average efficiency of honey in both beekeeping farms as well as their size. Author describes key factors that have influence on the level of performance of production considering mainly the decision-making process of resource management. Conclusions are supported by statistical analysis obtained from beekeeping farms.
