Summary/Abstract: The main aim of the paper is identification of challenges in the area of measuring business networking routines. Inter-firm networking routines are in the early stage of research, so the knowledge on them is currently dispersed. The further development of this knowledge is dependent on developing measurement model that would fit to reliability and validity standards and, at the same time, would support the nomological validity of the construct under investigation, namely its connections with some important measures of corporate success. The research conducted by the authors of this paper exploited the measurement model pretested in UK. The contribution of this research takes form of adjusting measurement instrument, testing its validity in the context of Polish business culture and, testing nomological validity via interconnections between networking routines and company innovativeness and company relationship portfolio performance.
