Summary/Abstract: The article aims to contribute to the research on MPs’ or ministry grants, generally known as pork barrel, by study of spatial differentiation of the Ministry of Regional Development program of the Support of Regional Development grants distribution in Czechia in 2004–2012 at the level of districts. It differentiates inner structure of pork barrel as it investigates ministry grants separately and takes up interest in connection between them and MPs’ grants in 2004–2009 (before ending of MPs’ grants) and 2010–2012 (after ending of MPs’ grants in 2010) in their volume and their spatial differentiation as well. It discusses possibility of politicians to hide the abolished praxis of MPs’ grants spending by continuing political influence on ministry grants (without any public control).
