Truth and Fiction in Virginia Woolf's Novel "To the Lighthouse"

Summary/Abstract: This paper deals with relations of truth and fiction in afore mentioned V. Wolf’s work of fiction. We have tried to define terms truth and fiction in relation to V. Wolf’s understanding of literary forms and genres. Research methods used in this paper are close reading and passage comparison of V. Wolf’s fiction and her essays. Both in fiction and essays she is determined to understand life but accomplished effects differ due to formal differences among these discourses.
