Summary/Abstract: This article deals with the institution of mediation as the second and obligatory method of collective dispute resolution. First, the essence and importance of mediation in collective disputes are defined. Later on, the following issues are discussed: the role of the mediator, the commencement, the process and ways of concluding mediation in collective dispute resolution.
