The Balkan wars - media discussions on the blame issue

Summary/Abstract: The article refers to the media discussions in the Bulgarian press related to the searching of “blame” for the failure of Bulgaria in the Balkan Wars of 1912-1913. The media discussions were an attemptto intertwine objective evaluations, speculations and outright demagoguery. All political forces rejected assumptions of guilt and tried to blame on other political, military and international factors. Thus began an almost one hundred-year trend in the Bulgarian society which is continuing today – to seek “blame” for everything that happens in Bulgaria
