Prevalent Types Of Access To Scientific Information In Document Supply In Serbia

Summary/Abstract: In this article the author uses the results of a thesis concern- ing transformation of the Interlibrary Loan and Document Supply in a line of transformation of communication in the system of science to analyse interaction between informa- tion technologies, adequate models of scientific communi- cation and corresponding changes in Interlibrary Loan and Document Supply. Document Supply is understood as a specific structure of scientific information and documents, fundamental but hidden, whose evolution, parallel to evo- lutions of some other structures of information and docu- ments, of which eight is allocated in contemporary theory (Brown, 1996), is monitored from the very beginning of this activity till today.
