Summary/Abstract: Digital history refers to numerous websites and Internet portals which gather historical materials with particular emphasis on personal testimony. The institution, which, at least in the USA, shaped the way people talk about this new medium in science, is Centre for History and New Media – at the example of programming texts, actions and projects, one can perfectly trace the process of setting a new way in how history functions in a wider circulation. Digital history is not only presented but most of all created on websites by their users. This history is not only democratically and dynamically created but it is also individualised, subjective and, at least seemingly, totally inclusive.
