Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to investigate professionalization process of public relations and the critical role of interpersonal communication in this process. Moving here, we will be examining profession and job descriptions according to sociology of professions and analyzing status of public relations as a profession. In the next step we will evaluating what is function of interpersonal communication for specialization of public relation. Finally, this study will explain that interpersonel communication has a decisive role for specialization of public relations and professionalization process of public relations.
