On the Terminological Issue „Idea – Concept – Terminology"

Summary/Abstract: The present thematic issue of the academic journal Bulgarian Musicology was inspired by Senior Research Fellow Ph.D. Lubomir Kavaldjiev and his research team’s enthusiasm for creating a terminological issue with an informational-theoretical emphasis. This coincided with the journal’s practice of periodically compiling issues focused on a problem or theme relevant to contemporary musicological knowledge. The title alone, „Idea – Concept – Terminology,“ is attractive, given its unlimited possibilities for logical-cognitive and interpretive approaches.
