Summary/Abstract: This article presents two clay objects belonging to the Gârla Mare Culture. The first one was discovered in the settlement Ostrovu Mare (Romania) and the second one in the necropolis of Orsoya (Bulgaria), both sites belonging to the same culture. In both cases there are oval plates, with symmetrical decorations consisting of cosmological elements, typical for the period of urnfield culture (Sonnenbarke, Sonnenwagen). Comparing their decorations and form with those from the bronze pieces the author reached the conclusion that those two objects are baked clay miniatures of greaves
