Summary/Abstract: Abstract: Given the challenge crime represents, more and more organized at international level, EU seeks new forms of cooperation in this area, especially through the development of instruments based on the principle of mutual recognition, or finding new mechanisms of judicial assistance in criminal matters. Given the doubts and reservations – doctrine generally in terms of functionality and effectiveness of the European evidence warrant (EEW), and the order of asset and evidence freezing, on 04 April 2014 was adopted the Directive no. 214/41 / EU of the European Parliament and of the Council regarding the European Investigation Order in criminal matters.
