Summary/Abstract: Quality of life is a term that is not easily defined, because it depends on various criteria. Individual goals and attitudes, beside economic, cultural, religious and educational factors, are predominantly influencing the quality of life. In that context quality of life is defined as individual’s perception about own position in life – in the subcontexts of culture and values, as well their goals, expectations, standards and interests. It is a broad concept comprised of physical and mental health of the individual, financial independence, social relations and individual’s relation towards important characteristics of their environment. Academic success of students is analysed with regards to their final grades, conduct they demonstrated, amount of unexcused absence and disciplinary measures that were issued in the students name in the previous academic year.
