Summary/Abstract: This paper employs the correlation analyses to investigate the relation-ship between selected economic determinants of military spending and the level of military expenditures for each of the 27 NATO countries over the period 1993-2014. The findings indicate that there is very little uniformity in the economic factors that determine each country ́s military expenditures.
