Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study was to analyze the intensity of leaving unemployment at the age 18-25. The cohort has consisted of unemployed individuals registered in 2012 and observed by the end of 2013. The event regarded as the one ending the unemployment spell has been the moment of an individual’s de-registration from the PLO due to finding employment. The remaining data have been considered censored. We have constructed the cohort tables on the basis of individual data provided by the Poviat Labour Office in Szczecin. We have compared the intensities of unemployment exits in the subgroups (gender and education). The study verified the hypothesis that the level of education influences the intensity of making work. The aim of this study was to analyze the intensity of leaving unemployment at the age 18-25.
