Comparative view on the current regulatory corruption offences and the one offered by the New Criminal Code

Summary/Abstract: The issue of fighting against corruption is and will be a permanent concern of the Romanian and foreign judicial doctrine, “corruption” may take several forms of expression incriminated in the criminal law under separate offences. From this perspective we consider that it’s useful to see the evolution of the criminal law, regarding the fight against corruption in our country, through the comparison of the corruption offences in the present criminal law regulated in the New Criminal Code. Also, the article emphasizes the offence of bribery, as a specific modality of the corruption offences.
