Summary/Abstract: Those who fled Russian-occupied Crimea, starting in 2014, have stated unequivocally that they disagree with the change in power and will not live under the new authorities. What they found in so-called “free” Ukraine is, on the one hand a government ill-equipped to accommodate internally displaced people and, on the other, a civil society willing to receive them.
