Summary/Abstract: In the article it is presented example of using multivariate statistical methods in purpose to assess capacity and possibilities of milk production in Ukrainian regions. With use of variability analysis and matrix of correlation coefficients there were chosen explanatory variables. In the article there were presented the following multivariate statistical methods as Hellwig method, method of middle average and Czekanowski diagram. In the conclusions it was defined the regions with the biggest and the smallest production capabilities.
