Summary/Abstract: The subjects of the study are two parallel careers influencing each other: family and occupational careers. We analyzed data collected from a retrospective survey "Family, Occupational and Educational Biographies", conducted by the Institute of Statistics and Demography, Warsaw School of Economics in 2006. The data related to the events recorded in the biographies of economically active young married women. The nonparametric model for dependent competing risks was used.
