Summary/Abstract: The methodology of actor-network theory has been analyzed. The main purpose of this paper is to justify the relevance of the methodological and categorial apparatus of actor-network theory for social and philosophical research. The following principal concepts of actor-network theory are considered: network, hybrid, translation, actor, techno-social network, and frame. Based on the textual analysis, the conclusion is made that actor-network theory appears as the most effective instrument for social and philosophical research of the modern society, which is characterized by network morphology.
