Summary/Abstract: We analyze the role played by the representation of the two presidents, Vladimir Putin and Barack Obama, in a modern Russian anti-Americanism: public opinion, the media and the eyes of Russians. The work is based on the data of sociological research (interviews) conducted in 2014, as well as on the analysis of texts and visual sources, published in the Russian mass media for the period 2012-2014.
