Summary/Abstract: The article looks at issue of change of name of individuals in Poland, Austria, Denmark, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, Portugal, Sweden, Hungary, Great Britain and Italy. The author briefly reviews relevant regulations regarding the legal change of the name and the conditions under which individuals may request commencing such a procedure.
