Summary/Abstract: The article examines "digital segregation" of the population in small and remote settlements in access to high speed internet and use of eGovernment services and services online. It offers a way to overcome this problem through measures by the government to stimulate the construction of mobile broadband networks in rural areas through public-private partnerships, investment funds under EU programs and complete release of spectrum in the band 790-862 MHz.
