New data about the canabae of the XI Claudia legion at Durostorum

Summary/Abstract: During the excavations made in 1926 at the foundation of the National Bank of Romania branch in Silistra (today the Regional Museum of Archaeology Silistra, Bulgaria) the corner of a building was found which, based on the depths indicated on the drawings, belongs to the canabae of the XIClaudia legion in Durostorum. Taking into account the location of the excavation and previous discoveries made by Bulgarian archaeologists, the author suggests a sketch of urban morphology of the canabae
