Summary/Abstract: This article is the first attempt to study the process of functioning of wall newspapers within the system of youth press in Udmurtia in the1930s. The work considers factory, city, collective farm, rural, students, Komsomol, pioneer and school wall newspapers as a type of immediate and accessible regional press for young audience. The importance of wall newspapers for upbringing, education, organization and socialization of the younger generation in regional conditions is shown.
