Changes In Romanian Media – Risk Of Decline And Tabloid Journalism

Summary/Abstract: Presently, Romanian media knows a series of slides from its fundamental objective, that to inform correctly and in real time. Perverted journalism has various reasons in media system: media has a poor financial support and lacks professionalism, aspects that make it fragile. However, the vulnerability of the system has been proved since 2008, when the economical financial crisis emerged and that has determined fundamental changes on the market. Under the financial circumstances, in order to save themselves from collapse, the quality publications from Romania have made a series of compromises, giving up the materials with information value, in favour of those promoted by the tabloid media. It deals with a decline or, in other words, a demoralization of media, assumed more or less, however developed, as we mentioned above, under the circumstances of financial risks, which unsolved, led to the loss of some media.
