Summary/Abstract: Following the discovery of a document about which one knew nothing but one mention, the author describes the circumstances in which this paper saw the day, before being lost. It is a proclamation addressed by some of the Romanian students in Paris to the new government resulted from the republican victory of February 1848.During public demonstrations and in the middle of the general enthusiasm, the officials resort, for weeks, to delegations of all kind, among which the Romanian ones. The author reviews the attempts, all of them failed, to transfer abroad the façade internationalism professed in Paris, by both the government and the Masonic leaders.
