Summary/Abstract: The Public Minister is a representative institution for many states, but the prosecutor’s statute is different. There are many states which have a single magistrate staff made by judges and prosecutors making together the power of justice. There are states where the Public Minister is a part of the executive. In other states, the Public Minister is organized under the authority of the Minister of Justice and prosecutors are not part of the executive. At the moment there is a tendency to bring the prosecutor’s and the judge’s statues at the same level, each having specific attributions for making justice.
