Summary/Abstract: The article determines threats to technological safety of the state, defines functions of partnership model participants and category“economic safety of region”, analyzes the technological infrastructure of region and proposes measures for maintaining technologicalsafety of region.Aim of research is the author’s definition of the economic category “technological safety of region” which shall not contradict thestate national interests, as well as determination of factors influencing and presenting threat to the technological safety of region.Results of research: priority directions of the scientific support for solving the problems of technological safety include innovativepolicy of the state and regions, advanced technologies, protection of intellectual property on the internal and external markets,formation of human resources potential of science and databases, including special databases subject to the state protection.It is grounded that the basis of technological safety of region is proper economic and technical potential, the level of which shallcomply with the world standards and today's demands, therefore the main task of the regional power authorities for the enhancementof technological safety is favoring the inflow of advanced technologies into the region with the simultaneous control over their exportfrom region for its economic growth and stable development, as well as provision of competitive capacity of products.
