Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the possibilities to transform the author’s academic concept of mythogeography & the methods of producing complex geographical descriptions for practical use. The limits & peculiarities of this practical implementation are described on the example of a guidebook of New Moscow, an area that became a part of Moscow city in 2012 & is regarded as an appropriate case to study how a new local discourse is constructed.
