Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on some legal problems concerning the interpretation of provisions on the right to privacy of a clergyman. The author presents relevant legal regulations and different opinions in the area of interpretation of this issue. The analysis of legal regulations is based on courts’ rulings which lend meaning to the term “right to privacy of public person”. The article discusses a number of chosen courts’ rulings which form the method of determining prerequisite elements of right to privacy of a clergyman seen as a public person. The analysis carried out by author provides evidence that this issue is very problematic and worth further research.
