Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes the process of outlook change of the provincial teacher's intelligentsia in the end of the 1980-s — the middle of the 1990-s. These people faced the necessity of personal search for guidelines to create an adequate academic process in the conditions of existing ideological mix in the USSR and Russia, crisis of school teaching, refusal of communist ideals, depoliticization of school.
