Summary/Abstract: The article investigates typical features of the Soviet society problems reflection in science fiction; it analyzes the works of the leading authors of the genre. The focuse is on such aspects as scientific and social forecasts in works of fiction. Noted are the features of science fiction as a specific way of reality reconsideration.
