Summary/Abstract: In this article the author presents approaches to the interpretation of the concepts of «monitoring» and «diagnosis» in the contextof local government, an organizational mechanism for process diagnostics city budget allocated orientation of the local budget andpresented a comprehensive method of monitoring and diagnostic performance of revenues and expenditures of the city on throughthe use of method coefficients. These results can be used in scientific and practical fields of finance, economics and management.
