Summary/Abstract: The author presents a linguistic model of an explicative syntax, which is being developed by the Polish syntactic school (it is based on the syntactic works of a famous Polish linguist Stanisław Karolak). The article describes the theoretical principles of this scientific direction and shows its application in practice (and namely by description of the basic syntactic structures of Slavic languages). The author examines this model in comparison with other models, in particular the Moscow semantic school.
