Summary/Abstract: This article analyzes the representation of the "Soviet" as an ideological concept and as part of a personal experience in his autobiography (1997) and interviews (2007) emigrants to Finland from the former Soviet Union. The paper shows that, regardless of whether avtonarrativs represent the Soviet experience as negative or positive, in the situation of-alienation, time, geographical and ideological distancing the experience is constructed in the AutoText as unique and valuable.
