Doctrine and pastoral: a never-ending story

Summary/Abstract: Images and words, Pope Francis describes the essence of the Christian life, call to explore new initiatives and models of life in the faith. The call to pastoral renewal, which is currently being formulated by Pope Francis refers to the relationship between doctrine and pastoral practice, between theory and activity of the Church. This article is an analysis of the current challenges related to this issue. But also refers to a centuries-old tradition of the Church. In the last part of the article an attempt was made to develop the principles of dialogue between doctrine and pastoral activity of the Church.
