Ways to increase the effectiveness of Ukraine’s banking system in the context of European integration

Summary/Abstract: The subject of the research is an analysis of the external and internal interferences to the integration of Ukraine’s banking system in the European financial space.The purpose of the scientific problem is to define the trends and to ground the principles of adaptation activities of the financial credit system, particularly its banking sector, to the requirements of economic globalization and regionalization.Methods of research. In the research used the general scientific methods such as a systematic approach, methods of abstraction,analysis and synthesis, comparison for studying the status and trends of development.Results of work. The recommendations for improvement the situation of Ukraine’s banking system in the context of modern European integration processes are formulated on the basis of the study and analysis of international and domestic experience.Practical implications. The proposed theoretical principles, conclusions and recommendations may be used for the forming policy of the normal functioning of Ukraine’s banking system.Conclusions. The ways to overcome the fall in the development of Ukraine’s banking system from European countries should be to improve its effectiveness and the competitiveness of domestic banks, facilitating their access to the European market of credit resources.Therefore, provision of the reforms in Ukraine’s banking system will be facilitate to the progress of European integration, setting-up of closer international economic cooperation and raising of the competitiveness of domestic banks on the market of banking services.
