Summary/Abstract: The present paper assesses the scope of changes in the pursuit of the Czech Republic defence policy adaptation to the change in its security environment. It stipulates new set of strategic assumptions on which new conceptual approach to defence policy formulation and execution is build. In addition to that, it identifies several risks associated with the new policy implementation.
